Abbey Road on the River

Mackenzie Kaskie, photographer and photo editor, captured those who attended the Abbey Road on the River event which was held at the Big Four Station Park in Jeffersonville, Indiana on Thursday May 22nd, 2025. Mackenzie used her Nikon D7500 DSLR camera with various attachments to capture the event. This was a personal project which allowed her to better expand her event photography skills. This shoot followed a photojournalism approach to better capture candid photos of visitors. Although the weather was gloomy during the day of the shoot, standard and advanced retouching were utilized to make the photos look more presentable without taking away from their original quality. The photographs from this assignment were intended to be used on the KJ | LUX Photography social media accounts.
